Cookie and tracking choices

Analytics and advertising/conversion measurement are on by default for visitors in every region, including when location is unknown. The notice has a Got it acknowledgment and a Manage / opt out link; acknowledging it does not change your settings. Global Privacy Control and opting out turn tracking off. Opting out never blocks the quiz, comparisons or other content.

Analytics

Analytics uses PostHog and a minimized Google Analytics 4 (GA4) lane. PostHog measures page visits and restricted site interactions using the site host and an anonymous in-memory identifier, not an analytics cookie. It records URL and path only for a small set of neutral public pages without query strings or fragments. It excludes health-specific and unknown URLs, page titles, referrers and quiz or scorecard progression/completion; person profiles, session recording and automatic form capture stay off. GA4 may set _ga and _ga_2WQ42JY0WK cookies. GA4 page views and restricted interactions run only on /, /about/, /privacy/, /privacy/cookies/ and /terms/ with eligible prior-page context; a fixed page title and blank referrer replace page-specific values, and query strings and fragments are excluded. GA4 does not collect on health-specific, individualized or unclassified pages. Both lanes are on by default where eligible unless you opt out or send Global Privacy Control. Quiz answers, health details, email, phone and form entries are not analytics properties. The tracking controls let you turn analytics and advertising/conversion measurement off together.

Advertising measurement and sharing choices

Advertising/conversion measurement preferences start on worldwide. Use the controls above to turn tracking off; Global Privacy Control also turns it off. Health quiz answers, health conditions and health-page URLs are never advertising or conversion payloads. Health-derived events cannot become advertising events, even when tracking is on. Personalization remains off. These preferences do not lift existing Google Tag Manager container or Clarity configuration holds, or create a server advertising consent receipt. GA4 analytics is enabled only on the eligible ordinary routes described above.

Saving and withdrawing

Necessary browser storage remembers your separate preferences; it is not a server advertising consent receipt. Use the button above to change or reject optional choices. Global Privacy Control keeps optional tracking off. If browser storage is unavailable, tracking stays off for that page, but the saved choice may not persist across visits.

Withdrawal stops new PostHog requests and retries from this page and aborts its pending PostHog analytics fetches. For GA4, opting out stops new loads and events and later-page collection; an already-started permitted request may complete or retry. Withdrawal also removes browser-owned conversion IDs from available local storage and restores links decorated on this page. A request already sent before withdrawal may already have reached its recipient, and opting out cannot recall data previously received. There is currently no connected server advertising revocation endpoint or acknowledgment, and changing a browser preference does not erase information already received elsewhere.
